9 Months Old!!!

Alice is 9 Months old today!! That's as long as I was pregnant...crazy how quickly it has all gone.

Alice rocking her new "Fred Flintstone" 5 o'clock shadow made of beef and peas.

Playing with her favorite fishy toy in the bath.

No time to put on pants with all these fun toys to play with!

Kissy face

Let me out of this thing!! (she is really watching her new favorite show Jack's Big Music Show

Playing Catch Up #2

Busy week. Lon and I are both trying to get ready for the Craftstravaganza next Saturday. That, along with working, isn't leaving much time for blogging. But here are some quick pics

Last Saturday, we went to the park (by the coffee shop, hee hee) Even though she is a bit too small for the baby swing, she still enjoyed it.

Wheeeee!

These cool chimes play music when you hit them. I think mommy was way more impressed with them than Alice

Alice helping Mommy make dinner. I like this picture because I think there is a similar one of me when I was a baby with the funky 70's tile floor (our kitchen is a little outdated)

You want me to eat what?

Fine!

Playing Catch-Up

Well, we're back from Vegas...taxes are paid...and we're both back to work on stuff for the Craftstravaganza Rogue Art and Craft Fair at the end of the month. So, let's play catch-up with some pics of Alice I know y'all have been dying for.

Fun times in the bathtub. Alice wore that rag on her head for a good five minutes. She's nutty.

Great Auntie Sue acts as a highchair at the Hunter Girl's Reunion in Detroit Lakes. Great Grandpa is in the background.

Sure the food was good...BUT HAVE YOU TRIED THIS PLATE??!!??

Alice loves bath-time, but wasn't sure what to think of the pool. I think in about a year we won't be able to keep her out of a pool.

Playtime in the hotel room.

Not sleeping on the car ride home. So what? That's how she rolls. :)

Open mouth, insert foot.

Her first plane ride. She slept the whole way to Vegas.

Dancing on Grandma's piano. Mom sure looks excited.

Pretty as can be in front of the fountains at Caesar's Palace.

Meeting a "real Italian" at Raos in Caesars.

Taking a bath in Grandma's sink. Pretty fun!

One of the few (non crying) moments in Granpa's lap. She warmed up to old "big bear" eventually.

She misses Grandma and Grandpa already!

Riding the tram at the Vegas airport. Heading home.

"Look at all the pretty lights!" Landing in Minneapolis.

Dinner at Raos

We went to Caesar's Palace for dinner last night. Here's a pic of Auntie Carrie, Me, Daddy and Mommy...all dressed up and ready to eat!

Mommy and I at the table. I got to try meatballs and pasta! Yummy.

And here I am with Grandma. A big Italian man came to visit, but we didn't get any good photos! Maybe I'll have to teach Daddy how to use his digital camera.

Vegas Diary 1

After a nice nap on the flight, and a tough night up until 3 a.m., Grandma and Grandpa built me a fun fort to play with my toys. Thanks! Here I am opening a gift from their neighbors Ron & Patty.

I even got to try on Grandpa's hat.

Then I showed Daddy how to play the piano. It's EASY!

Only in Vegas do you get Patio Dining. I had my dinner outside, with some neat mountains in the distance to look at, instead of Ickycat.

And here I am, after a Target shopping spree, with Grandma and Grandpa in their "courtyard." That's what people that live in Las Vegas call a patio. Aren't they crazy?

Bye bye!

8 MONTHS!

Wow! Four more months and Alice will have her first birthday! Yay!

I came home from work early today because I was feeling miserable. I had a headache that wouldn't go away, and a stomach ache that made me feel just sick. I don't think it's the same thing Carrie had, but after chilling out at home, and sleeping for a few hours on the couch, I felt a lot better.

Today was very warm, it got up to 80ยบ in Minneapolis. So when I got up, I took Alice to the park, so Mommy could get a break.

Sitting in the grass.

Touching a tree.

Looking around the park.

I think Alice was trying to steer with the straps.

Big Update, by Alice Mae

After Mommy and Daddy invited themselves over to the Turman's for dinner, I got to play with all these strange toys and a little girl named Mae. Her toys tasted different than mine. So I cried.

Mommy made me sit in Daddy's big chair and she took a lot of pictures of me. This is the crazy sort of thing we do while Daddy dissapears for eight hours a day.

So, there.

I go a little nuts at dinner time, sometimes. How much orange mush can a little girl eat?

America's Next Top Baby

There's something about watching the Teletubbies that makes me want to recline, take off my socks and just chillax. I think it's the way Dipsy says "Uh-oh...," or maybe just Noo-Noo.

This is me getting ready for Summer. Enough of this 10-minute bundle-the-baby-up business. I wann run free in the front yard in my diaper, and kick-back in a kiddy-pool Daddy has yet to buy me.

Daddy makes me look like the "Michelin Baby."

Mommy and Daddy FINALLY realized I can do this by myself. Spoons are for babies.

America's Next Top Baby: Cycle 2

One of my favorite things is hanging out on the bed with the cats. If only it were one of their favorite things.

Mid-clap.

Elephant-tails are a tasty treat. I saw that on Iron Chef one night. Mmmmm.

Cutest picture ever.

I love hanging out with Mommy. It's fun to drive her crazy. She thinks it's fun too...see?

Bye bye!
